Nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside and rural farmlands of central Brittany is the lovely small village of Seglien and two unique and charming holiday properties. The two properties are located next to each other on the outskirts of the village but are separate properties. This makes them perfect for anyone wishing to utilise both properties for their holiday but equally provides complete separation for different users.
Their location at the edge of the village means you have the best of both worlds with a countryside setting but also easy access to the centre of the village with a 5 minute walk to order your pain and croissants, drink at the local Tabac or eat in that famous Breton eating house, the Creperie.
La Grande Maison is a large, imposing and spacious early 20th Century house, ideal for families or a group of friends it features 2 large bedrooms, an open kitchen and lounge and a fantastic garden. La Grande Maison is toddler/baby friendly - a high chair, cot, baby chair, walker, swing and lots of toys are available at no extra cost. Croquignolet is an elegant little holiday cottage. Built in 1825 it has been beautifully renovated with a stunning beamed mezzanine and is the perfect getaway for a couple looking for a tranquil holiday.
The Seglien surrounds offer the beauty of rural France with spectacular countryside views, numerous activities for all ages and interests and the opportunity to unwind and relax.
For those who like to explore the wider Breton region the properties central location makes them only a 45 minute drive from the south coast and an hour and half drive from the North and West Coasts, giving you the opportunity to see and explore the whole of Brittany.
The Breton people are friendly and hospitable and make visitors to the region feel very welcome. Try out your French or stumble by with some Franglaise and enjoy the local cuisine.
In the summer months of July and August the owners are also in residence nearby and offer a variety of services including pickups and meals. For parents we offer a babysitting service and summer school activities.
There are also a number of excellent introductory specials as the properties are opened for the first time.
